WebComponent fails to load if there is no element except <summary>. It should allow a text-node too.
Don't animate if the user prefers reduced motion:

This can probably be fixed by supporting programmatic opening and closing by changing details[open].
We should do a check for progressive enhancement, so that we don't change the dom if details is not supported.
The effect should be tested in an older browser.
Append to adoptedStyleSheets instaed of overwriting it.
The opening does not animate in firefox. Works well in Chromium and Safari though.
