Change render output

Data should be output with res.json instead of res.text where JSON data is returned. This will allow clients to better parse the data

Open Source Helps!

Thanks for your work to help the people in need! Your site has been added! I currently maintain the Open-Source-COVID-19 page, which collects all open source projects related to COVID-19, including maps, data, news, api, analysis, medical and supply information, etc. Please share to anyone who might need the information in the list, or will possibly contribute to some of those projects. You are also welcome to recommend more projects.

Postman collection for the API

Hey there ๐Ÿ‘‹

I've created the following collection to make it easier for interested users to query your API: https://explore.postman.com/templates/6818/uk-coronavirus-data-api

We're gathering a list of APIs around Covid-19 and would love to add yours if you'd allow us, you can check the current list here: https://github.com/postmanlabs/covid-19-apis

Also for now the collection is published under my name but I'm more than happy to give you ownership if you'd prefer!

Hi

Hello from Larry

Make areas (markers) on map a more contrasting colour

Hi there,

Love what youve made here! It's useful and getting shared quite widely in my circles! Great job.

Wondering if you could make a design change - to make the marked areas on the map have a bit more contrast to the map itself. Especially when you zoom right down to very local level, the circles shrink down to a tiny size, and given current colour it can be hard to see them. Take a look at 'Bradford' as an example of this, i've attached a screenshot.

ML algorithm to show forecasts

It would be interesting to add a feature of forecast for the next 7 days based on the existing data.

For example, this can be done by using a 3-degree poly model or exponential model.

If the 3-degree poly model is correct, we shall see 80 new cases on 9th March.
If the exponential model is correct, we shall see 95 new cases on 9th March.

Good work!
