About the Video Course

Electron 5 Tips and Tricks aims to demonstrate the new Version API changes and best practices to create Electron Desktop based cross-platform application, It is meant for familiar developers with Electron who wants to level up the security, quality and their skills developing and working with the Electron 5 Framework. We will be looking at different sides of creating Desktop Applications from API changes to Security measures and safe app deployments to end-clients. By the end of this course, you should be able to build high-quality cross-platform desktop apps using Electron 5 using the New API and with tips and tricks to create good standards apps you will also know important resources and tools to easily develop, debug and maintain your Electron Applications.

Assumed Knowledge

To fully benefit from the coverage included in this course, you will need:
Prior working knowledge of the Electron Framework. Familiarity with Nodejs and Javascript (ES6). An understanding of basic HTML syntax. (Optional) Experience Webpack or other Web Assets Bundlers.

Node.js - Version 10.XX LTS
Electron - Version 5.0
