bash-wakatime's Issues

Not working in WSL

I get the following error on WSL:

: command not found
bash: /home/<username here>/bash-wakatime.sh: line 12: syntax error near unexpected token `$'{\r''
'ash: /home/<username here>/bash-wakatime.sh: line 12: `pre_prompt_command() {

This used to work fine in Git Bash. I recently came over to WSL2 and I am unable to get it to work.

WakaTime for PowerShell

Could this be ported to PowerShell?
We can overload the Prompt Function there as well - but I don't know enough about Bash to translate and build the same thing up there.

Is it still maintained?

It still says pip install wakatime to install the CLI. But the python CLI is deprecated. So, is this project still maintained?

Avoid basename error in .git/

I found an issue when moving to .git directory in a repository.

cd .git
basename: missing operand
Try 'basename --help' for more information.

This issue is caused by git rev-parse --show-toplevel

$ cd /home/iberianpig/.ghq/github.com/gjsheep/bash-wakatime
$ git rev-parse --show-toplevel
/home/iberianpig/.ghq/github.com/gjsheep/bash-wakatime # ok

$ cd .git
$ git rev-parse --show-toplevel
$ # no output

Issue in Terminal/Bash Integration

Can somebody here help me troubleshoot this problem?I just followed the guide at https://wakatime.com/help/plugins/terminal under Bash section but after doing all the guide, every time I open my bash, this error always appear:

usage: wakatime [-h] [--entity FILE] [--key KEY] [--write] [--plugin PLUGIN]
[--time time] [--lineno LINENO] [--cursorpos CURSORPOS]
[--entity-type ENTITY_TYPE] [--proxy PROXY]
[--project PROJECT] [--alternate-project ALTERNATE_PROJECT]
[--alternate-language ALTERNATE_LANGUAGE]
[--hostname HOSTNAME] [--disableoffline] [--hidefilenames]
[--exclude EXCLUDE] [--include INCLUDE] [--extra-heartbeats]
[--logfile LOGFILE] [--apiurl API_URL] [--timeout TIMEOUT]
[--config CONFIG] [--verbose] [--version]
wakatime: error: argument --entity is required

Wakatime works after 2 or more clear command. I guess there is something wrong with the bash-wakatime.sh. I did some chown and chmod 666 on .waka* files: .wakatime.cfg .wakatime.db and .wakatime.log, but still, the error still appears.

Thank you for your help! :)
