It would be nice to template the default values as well. i.e. run the default variables through go-templates first.

Like:

"AppName": "Demo",
"FolderName": "{{AppName}}"

i have a template i use for some go framework boilerplate.

the first argument should be the name of the current directory, to match the package nam

it would be useful to be able to something like ?

`boilr template use . --args Package=$PWD

maybe i will implement and PR some time in the future

Before and after hooks that will be executed.

Might only be the case if template is empty. And this is probably also on purpose (there is I believe a check if file is empty).

Hi,
The original repository tmrts/boilr had some work done in regards to supporting private repositories but it seems was not finished. Is there any plan to continue that work?

Such an organization could host the boiler and community managed/submitted template repositories.

This could remove dependency upon templates currently referenced in the wiki documents.
