nginx-letsencrypt's Issues

I am getting some errors, would appreciate your help

Hi,

I have set up everything as instructed and still can't manage to get https to work properly.

The is a snippet of my nginx container's logs:

nginx_1 | Generating RSA private key, 4096 bit long modulus (2 primes)
nginx_1 | ...............++++
nginx_1 | ..........................................++++
nginx_1 | e is 65537 (0x010001)
nginx_1 | req: Skipping unknown attribute "EMAIL"
nginx_1 | Signature ok
nginx_1 | subject=C = PT, ST = World, L = World, O = mywebapp.com, OU = mywebapp, CN = mywebapp.com
nginx_1 | Getting Private key
nginx_1 | Setting up watches.
nginx_1 | Watches established.
nginx_1 | Requested domain is not a FQDN because it contains an empty label.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thank You

You have the right idea.
The whole world is focussed on the needs of large corporations. Make everything into lots of separate pieces, and create logs of work for everyone

What about the needs of individuals? I just want to make it easy to fire up an NGINX docker container and automatically get my cert.

You have done a beautiful job documenting this. Tomorrow I will try and read it and understand it all.

Thank you.

Multiple domain (www/non-www) setup

First of all, thanks a ton for this minimal and fully-working setup. This is more of a question rather than an issue.

I'm trying to generate certificates for www and non-www versions of my domain and using DOMAIN=domain.com,www.domain.com environment variable, but it's causing issue for certificate paths here.

My solution was adding another DOMAINS variable with value domain.com,www.domain.com and use it here.

Is there any other solution which I might be missing?
