Good day.

You should be passing value and parameters separately. For example:

event.organizer = Icalendar::Values::CalAddress.new("mailto:[email protected]", 'CN' => 'Vodeclic')
attendee = Icalendar::Values::CalAddress.new('mailto:[email protected]',
    'cutype' => 'INDIVIDUAL',
    'role' => 'REQ PARTICIPANT',
    'partstat' => 'TENTATIVE',
    'cn' => 'test',
    'x-num-guests' => 0)
event.append_attendee attendee
