Another suggestion: adding track method in the host canister is a bit heavy weight, because we only need to call Metrics.track once. Maybe you can set up a special endpoint for the metric canister to crawl. This way anyone can call Metrics.track as long as the host canister implements the endpoint. For example, https://mwrha-maaaa-aaaab-qabqq-cai.raw.ic0.app/metrics is the endpoint that Prometheus uses.
