To make bash scripts executable use:

$chmod u+x fileName

My location of the bin folder is in my $HOME directory, therefore this needs to be added to the .bashrc file:

    export PATH="$HOME/bin:$PATH"
    export PATH="$HOME/bin/OpenFOAM:$PATH"
    
    if [ -f "$HOME/bin/aliases" ]; then
        source $HOME/bin/aliases
    fi
    
    if [ -f "$HOME/bin/functions" ]; then
        source $HOME/bin/functions
    fi
fi

OpenFOAM folder consists of various functions useful for use with OpenFOAM:

• RenameAndCombineSTLs
  • Combine multiple stls into one for meshing using cfMesh
• printAllFunctionObjects
  • Print all OpenFOAM function objects
