In http://www.pip-installer.org/en/latest/, the link to https://github.com/pypa/pip has an unnecessary peel popup.

When extension is installed, invite the user to spread the word about LinkPeelr with their friends. Link to LinkPeelr site.

enable tooltips in google, yahoo, bing domains

When mouse pointer leaves before tooltip appears, the tooltip shows up in unexpected place (around the element that was entered before). This should not happen.

Any mouse movement, on any page, whilst this extension is enabled causes the console to be flooded with the message "event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future."
This is new since Chrome 17.

It is caused by the use of jQuery 1.4.2. If you upgrade to jQuery 1.7 this will avoid the error message as described here (see "removed features").

Image loading makes the page look choppy when it opens.

I used your API, https://linkpeelr.appspot.com/api, for https://github.com/polomarcus/faster-links#faster-links---chrome-extension--, a Google Chrome extension that automatically removes shortened urls on twitter.
