It is a Web Scrapping application that takes in user preferred product from Flipkart to track it's price. This application is build on top of Django.

• It will keep us updated with change in price in Flipkart Products.
• It will show us the amount of price difference for each and every products in Flipkart.

• BeautifulSoup4: I have used this web scrapping library, because this is a beginner-friendly web scrapping project and BS4 is easy to learn and master in short amount of time.
• Django Framework: As this project is built using Python language, I choose Django because it is fast, easy to learn, secure and very versatile.

1. Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/zengboi/FlipCart-Tracker.git

2. Go to the project directory

  cd FlipCart-Tracker

3. Install dependencies

  python3 -m venv your_virtualenv_name
  source ./your_virtualenv_name/bin/activate
  pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Start the Database Mirgation

  python manage.py makemigrations
  python manage.py migrate

5. Create a Admin User

    python manage.py createsuperuser

6. Start the project

python manage.py runserver

The app will run on your (localhost:8000)

• Web Scrapping using BeautifulSoup4
• Use of Class-Based DeleteView.
• POST-REDIRECT-GET Pattern.
