This results in a console error:

Warning: validateDOMNesting(...): <button> cannot appear as a descendant of <button>.

Catalyst components can be themed via CSS variables but the shared button doesn't use them. Consequently, custom CSS variables won't reflect on components that use the shared button like Select and Toggle.

Not all types are exposed properly. Having types for components like Dropdown, Nav, etc would help in writing props.

Just found this project from the newsletter, but it looks like the website is down/broken.

The active tab has a background but inactive tabs don't have a hover state.

I kinda expected this. So here's what I'm thinking. Tailwind classes in Catalyst UI should have a prefix. This should prevent them from overriding other tailwind styles.

Currently, main.css have to be imported separately in root.tsx or __app.tsx. Components styles wouldn't be applied otherwise.

It would be great, if each component came with their own styles injected automatically during import. This would prevent the need to import the main.css file which includes all the styles, even for components that we don't end up using.

Links in dropdown opens in the same tab. It should open in a new tab, even if the link is in the same domain.
