i try to find a pointer but when i reboot game address change

So, this happens to me, and it seems to others as well for what i could read in some comments in psxhax.

Sometimes, the locked values stop sending the values you lock to the ps4. This happened to me in Horizon Zero Dawn and in Star Ocean 5.

• Unlocking and locking the values again did nothing.

• The solution was: save the codes, refresh the processes and load the codes again.

• Double click in the saved value and pressing the key enter seems to fix the problem as well.

Only doing this, make ps4cheater to continuing sending the values to the ps4.

I think this problem only happens when you lock 2 or more values at the same time.

i have a question or request i know you dont have much time , i want to ask is it possible to add the function in later version to save the pointer search results to a file like Cheat engine PC, and later we can load it back and continue the search for the pointers and not always start over

Im not sure if is posible to add Breakpoint option and a debugger so we can track the address that we had found and see the routin that is chaging it and share it with everyone.

Hi Hurrican and thanx as always for your great job on this project i dont know how to thank you enough. I have an issue on a game: i correctly find health money and other value and also the root pointer all these codes are on [0]320000.... address.

After that im on infinite power and infinite transformation code i ve found the values float these are on [3]320000... address area that is different than the main one the problem is that i cannot find root pointer for that. I found some on 10 or more level of scan. Level 11 contains 500.000 pointers but after i reboot return into game then filtering the new pointer found with next scan then i have 0 pointers found and sometimes red cross on screen (maybe ps4cheater crash).

Why i cannot find the root pointer for these values? Scanning level 20 is 3.000.000 pointers takes hours and surely it will crash

If you add to many offsets, thw window grows without limit, until the buttons dissapear at the bottom of the screen:

Maybe you can make that window movable, with a fixed size and a vertical scroll bar?

Sometimes you can get an address wrong and having to add all the code from scratch again is exhausting. So it would be useful to be able to edit the addresses of the saved codes.

Although you can alter the field for port number to connect to, the program is bound and determined to try and reach out to port 9020. ;.;

If i do several searches with the "Find Pointer" function or if i try to add a pointer manually, the float search in ps4cheater become bugged. Hex search too. 4 bytes seems to be working fine though. But i don't know about the rest fo the search types.

If i close ps4cheater and open it again, everything works perfectly again.

Hurrican it would be cool if we can insert cheat codes by arduino esp device is it possible? Besides is there a way to port different version of cheats, i mean every update change eboot files so cheat address always change, is there a comparison way to pattern 2 eboot of the same game?

Some games like "Prey" doesnt even start the game.

there is a bug on NIOH CUSA07123, when i try to using ps4 cheater 1.3.0
before in the game menu my ps4 just auto restarting, maybe the jkpatch is the problem.

Like the title say, almost all the time i try to make a full scan of eboot.bin (selecting all the sections) i get an librpc error. I don't know if this is a problem with jkpatch or the tool itself. But either way, can you make it so the tool "skip" the error? Like trying ti reconnect and continuing the search in the section who gives the error, and if it not possible to scan that section, then jump to the next one.

Everytime the error appear, no resukts are shown. The search automatically cancel itself. I wonder if you can fix this so the results are not lost everytime the error pop up.

memory view cannot auto refresh, could you add a peek features in memory view window?

Hi can you please add hen inside the payload because sometimes the payload cannot attach ps4 on 4.55 and i guess after sending hen payload. Thanx for your hard work this tool is awesome!!!!!!!! Hope you can also enlarge the amount of unknow float values on first scan if possible and alo breakpoint the address to see in elf what routine is writing, like cheat engine for pc.

Can you add a function to be able to select more than one memory range at a time? It is exhausting to have to select them one at a time, especially when there are dozens of them.

I mean something like this (I used photoshop for the picture):

By the way, I remember that in version 1.1 of the program, ps4cheater automatically selected the memory ranges in which it might be possible to find game values. Why did you delete that function?

This is a problem i only have with Horizon Zero Dawn. I don't know if it happens in other games.
Let me explain (and maybe you can try yourself if you have the game)

I was trying to find health in horizon zero dawn. I tried float, 2 bytes, 4 bytes, but nothing.
Then i did a 4 byte search, using unknown initial value, and then, did several next scan using only changed and unchanged value. At the end, i had 8 addresses. No matter how much i changed my health in game, those 8 addresses were always there. So, those addresses have something to do with health? That is what i thougth. I tried marking the first one, fall from a high altitud... but my hp went down. I tried the second one, the third one, and so on, but my hp always went down. And then, i tried marking all of them at the same time. And it work!! My hp didn't went down anymore. I did more testing and, at the end, only two of the 8 addresses are needed to be locked to freeze health.

So, here is the problem, or several problems. Or maybe, this is only one big problem.
The health is frozen and everything works fine until i teleport to another campfire. If i teleport, the stored codes stop working and my health stops being frozen. In this case 3 things can happen.

• The first is that if I close ps4cheater, open it again and load the saved codes, my health freezes up again and everything continues to function normally.

• The second is that the codes stop working even if I restart ps4cheater. And even if I look for the codes again and find them, the addresses has not changed and they still don't work when locked.

• And the third is that, even if I search for the addresses using the same method mentioned above, I can't find them again, no matter how much I search. It's like they've been hiding. And when this happens, two more things can happen:

1. The first is that I simply can't find the health address again, unless I restart the game.

2. And the second is that it becomes possible to find health by searching with float and exact value options.

So, i don't know why this happens. ASLR is locked by jkpatch, so why the addresses suddenly can't be found? And why sometimes i can find the health as a float value and other times i can't?
Can be a problem with aslr? Or maybe the game has some internal system of randomization aside from the aslr of the ps4? Or it has something to do with the search method?

If the health sometimes is hidden in horizon zero dawn, is possible that there are addresses in other games hidden as well. Like when i tried to find the experience points in Star Ocean 5. No matter what type of search i did, i wasn't able to find it. But when i searched the exp needed to level up (instead of the accumulated exp until now), i find that right away.

I may be doing something wrong, but I don't know what. For some reason the pointers I add don't work and instead give me the error: Sectioni wrong!

I was trying to find a health pointer in horizon zero dawn. One that continues to work even after rebooting the console. I did a first search and then turned off the ps4. I turned it back on and did a second search significantly reducing the results, but, for some reason, I can't add any of the pointers obtained.

But as far as your tool only thing left i think that u could add in the POINTER window would be beisde FIRST an NEXT can u add a PREVIOUS button so we can go back if our next search scan comes up with 0 results and there were 17 before hand it would be nice to get those results back

Should be like;
