GEB website made by GEB students for GEB students (Lille - France)

Hello all! This is the website for GEB students!

Find out what we coded as our first website as part of the M2 GEB projects involving 3 students. We are fresh apprentice in web development and the project was a way of increasing our skills. So please, don't be too judgy when you come across what could be mere stupidity, mistakes are made to make a step further... :)

PS: the website is temporarily put aside as GEB students are freshly graduated and are no longer involded in the project. Be sure they will be back to carry on the project! Hell yeah! Keep it real!

GEB-2018-2019 website development (yearly project)

UPDATE: there are ideas for the future of the website;

a complete overhaul of the website. There must be tons of lines of code to delete, change, ... Considering our knowledge on designing a website ready to be surfed on the Internet, it's normal. Moreover, the code is not well-structured, css code is 600 lines... doesn't make it clear what do what. I forgot to add comments, my bad! ;)
make the website responsive for tablet and mobile. For example the header bar menu content overlap with itself when screen is squezed to fit mobile screen dimensions.
update the home page
create content for about GEB, Alumni such as: photo gallery, companies of students, ...

Footer doesn't stick at the bottom without overlapping body content.

Issues with the footer:
it's well located at the bottom at the page whatever the height of the page is, but the last content of the page is stuck with the footer if the page height requires the user to scroll down.

Struggle to commit to git (authentication failed)

Possible to commit to git from another laptop but not on my private one. Same for Quentin. Push/Pull ask for authentication (user_name, password) but failed every time using token as password.

Must check about re installing git properly, should fix the shit.

Firefox comp. issues with footer

The footer has been fixed on Chrome and Edge (last version) but still not working on Firefox. It may come from that on Firefox, I can't see this part of the global.css:

Try <!DOCTYPE> but it's worst.
