freelance-job-notifier's Introduction

Freelance Jobs Telegram Notifier

Freelance Jobs Notifier is a Python script designed to periodically fetch new projects from popular freelance platforms (at the moment: Kwork.ru and Upwork.com) and notify a Telegram group about them. It uses the API, RSS Feed to retrieve project details and sends notifications to a specified Telegram group.

freelance-job-notifier's Issues

aiogram.exceptions.TelegramBadRequest: can't parse entities: Unsupported start tag "" at byte offset X

Strings similar to html tags are found in project description.

In the parser, these are escaped, but I recommend using formatting, which is one of the utilities of aiogram:

from aiogram.filters import Command
from aiogram.utils.formatting import Text, Bold

@dp.message(Command("hello"))
async def cmd_hello(message: Message):
    content = Text(
        "Hello, ",
        Bold(message.from_user.full_name)
    )
    await message.answer(
        **content.as_kwargs()
    )

Job/Project Description Also in Web App

It would be good if we could see the Job or Project description also in the Web App, because it is uncomfortable to return to the group or bot to see it for generated offer.

Filter Upwork jobs by Payment verification

I will suggest two approaches to tell bot users whether an Upwork order's payment status is verified or not

  1. We can filter jobs by Payment Verified status.
  2. We can write the status of the order in the project description in a section like Budget, Category, etc.
