What exactly do you mean by "duplicates"?
You never say.
Is it identical content?
Is it duplicate filenames?
Is it the full path name?
How does it work?
You should explain more in your description.

I receive the following error when I add dedupe to my pipeline.

Before I used gulp-file-contents-to-json to compine 15 files into json, but these files do not physically exist, might that be a reason? How can I narrow down the error since there is no stack trace?

I see the latest code in this repository is not dependent on gulp-util
