planet.emacsen.org's Issues

Please give some additional people commit access

Thanks for maintaining the planet. Unfortunately it seems like you don't have enough time to give it the attention it deserves and so pull requests can go unmerged for months, even without any comments.

I would like to suggest that you give some additional people commit access. These should people who are on Github a lot and have a reputation of being responsive. I suggest, if he agrees to do it, @purcell, and am volunteering myself too.

planet.emacsen.org is down

All attempts to reach the server over ports 80 and 443 are timing out.

The DNS resolves to 174.143.153.77. Did that change recently?

Missing blog

Hi,

my blog used to be in the feeds of Planet Emacsen: https://manuel-uberti.github.io/feed
This is the related PR: #71

Is there a particular reason my latest posts are not appearing on Planet Emacsen? Am I doing something wrong? :)

Thank you.

Make post date visible.

Post date is shown after post title and author name. If prior strings are too long the date of the post publication is lost behind area of <pre class="mode-line">.

On some other Planets post title and author name limited to certain characters. Another way is to put date in front of mode-line.

Wisdom and Wonder Blog Pull Quit Working

Good morning,

Long time fan and first time caller here!

The feed from blog going into Planet Emacsen broke right around the time that
one of the posts had a character Unicode title. I fixed it but my feed still
isn’t getting pulled. You changed it to HTTP and that helped for a while but
then quit working.

From what I can see W3C and FeedValidator are
happy with the feed. Is Planet Emacsen happy with that feed?

Switch to https?

Hello,

With the recent mandatory switch to https enforced by leading browsers like Firefox, it is getting annoying to visit non-https websites.

Also considering security, can planet.emacsen.org be switched to https ASAP?

As it stands, content from planet emacsen has already started getting inaccessible via Newsblur (an rss aggregator) on Firefox.

To see the content, I need to click on this:
