Setup Notes

Flash Image bone-debian-7.8-lxde-4gb-armhf-2015-03-01-4gb.img
Disable HDMI in /boot/uEnv.txt

Disable lightdm in /boot/uEnv.txt

Clone the repo on the Beaglebone
Install software with make install
Reboot

Verify spi_write takes less than 20ms.

Had to slow down spi to 1.5Mhz, make sure we can keep up our FPS otherwise enable double buffering.

screen_savers enabled for effects not based on motion

Panels effects get marked as included in screen saver

Names have a "*" after them.

top and bottom treads move backwards sync'd together

Rainbow barrel moved backwards

The rainbow moves in the wrong direction.

Update rainbow table to include more red

Red is lacking and yellow/green and blue/purple sections are really long

Make new static table that has more uniform distribution of colors.

Port shooting star barrel effect

toggle for screen saver

panels effect: breathing

treads effect: ripple

Port kit barrel effect

Kind of like cylon tread effect, but middle is bright and ends trail off.
