i want to add all contributer's profile images into readme.md .

Describe the bug
If some one by mistake input a dot or any punctuation mark as the name then it should ask for a new name, otherwise after the user downloads the video , he won't be able to open the file.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the website
2. Name the video to 'hello.html'
3. Record randomly and download it
4. See error

Expected behavior
It should show a warning message when the users save by invalid names

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows 11
• Browser : chrome
• Version : latest

Instead of randomly generated video file name, we can take input from the user regarding the name, if user does not provide then the name of the video file will be randomly generated

So I found this feature missing and would like to work on it

Add installation & usage guide to the readme

The ReadMe can be made better as well as there is a need of adding License and Contributing Guidelines in the ReadMe file!

Users have to select color scheme every time they visit the page, if they want to use a different color scheme from browser's default color scheme.

Describe the solution you'd like

• After user toggles color scheme, save their decision to localstorage.
  • key : screenREC-color-scheme
  • value : "light" | "dark"
• Before querying browser's prefers-color-scheme for color scheme, see if there is an existing color scheme in localstorage

Sorry, I could not think of any alternatives.

If the user is using mobile phone to access this site then don't allow the user to use this website and display an error message else allow the user to use this website

ScreenREC doesn't support on mobile devices , so when someone visits the site trhoug mobile then the user must be alerted that "Mobile device not supported" through a toast or banner.

Getting a big preview when the video's aspect ratio is not regular. I've tried to record an Android emulator.

App crashes if the user clicks on Stop sharing button.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Start recording
2. Click on Stop sharing button of the chrome popup UI.
3. App crashes here!

Expected behaviour
Recording should be stopped and video recorded till that time should be saved.

At footer, There is an Image Icon of your Portfolio. I want to add title for it. On mouse hover over image icon, Title should be shown "My Portfolio".

There are a few typos in the Installation Guide for Windows Users or Local Developement section, including command names.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
View errors on README.md

"Developement" should be changed to "development".
px parcel src/index.pug should be changed to npx parcel src/index.pug

Users are requesting this feature from long time.

It is always safe to have a Code of Conduct in your project so that people know that it is a safe space for everyone.
I believe that there already is a pre-made Code-Of-Conduct provided by GitHub and it just has to be added.

Hey there, I checked out the website and found out something that can be added. After the video has finished, we can download the video but there is no option on that page to create a new recording. The user has to reload the website.
Assign me this issue, I can make a button to go back to start a new recording.

Toast ui is a bit boring , make it look beautiful 🧪

Add a count down feature like 3 2 1 and then the recording should start

You will need .yml files for issue templates so that the labels and problems can easily be differentiated.
When the project goes live at a bigger scale, this can help you by sorting the issues in better manner.

After downloading the video, the User can upload it to the YouTube/twitter / etc .
