Apart from your own books, who is writing well on web accessibility? Is there a good reading list out there?

Bellybuttons are still confusing to me. They seem to collect fluff if unkept and pressing them seems to produce varying results. Too much uncertainty around bellybuttons as such automated testing seems impossible. Help.

I have a question about honeypots.

Instead of obstructing users with CAPTCHAs, use honeypots

I'm familiar with the concept of honeypots, but I can't find any good resources on how to implement them in HTML/CSS. Could you share a code snippet? I'm particularly curious about how the input should be hidden: if it is marked as display: none, would it still work as a honeypot, or is it better to employ a different method of hiding the field visually?

Hey! I’m a fan of your stuff.

I’ve been working on a few front end projects. These typically take some input and provide some output (in the form of a table or even a link).

The one thing I’m not sure about is how to let screen reader users know that the operation has output.

These are a couple approaches I’ve tried.

• For this one app which tries to find an RSS feed url, I just change the focus to the resulting link
• for another app (a tax calculator) I used an atomic region on the table that shows the results.
