New here and noticed on RetroPie 3.3 that SMW was displaying a couple warnings when launching. Nothing that impacts functionality in any way. The two warnings were about missing image files. I just copy the missing files to the smw directory on every fresh load, but thought I would drop a comment here as well. Sorry if this is the wrong place to do so. The two missing files are:
smw/gfx/packs/Classic/eyecandy/sledgebrothersdead.png
smw/gfx/packs/Classic/menu/menu_vertical_arrows.png

To skip the start screen, you have to press any button and everything works, but only from the keyboard.
Is it possible to skip the start screen by pressing a button on the joystick?

I’m having an issue on a RetroPie build where the gamepad is set up as a keyboard and Escape is assigned to one of the buttons (B). When setting Escape as an action in Game Controls (Turbo, Jump, etc.), it prompts to exit instead of performing the action. The button I assigned as the Exit button (Select) also prompts to exit like it should. I assume Escape key is set to always exit the game, but could it be set to not exit if it is set as an action other than exit in Controls?

Edit: I see in main.cpp where it's sending a game_cancel press on SDLK_ESCAPE, but I was able to change things on my side so that B isn't set to Escape (retrogame). It's no longer a problem for me, but it can still happen to others.
