Make it easy to compare the response from an HttpClient request without requiring 10 lines of code in each test.

This will allow users to use the custom AngleAssert xunit assertions if they have extended Xunit.Assert themselves.

A mismatch on a specific element should highlight the element that doesn't match and not just return all the HTML.

When comparing two HTML structures we should be able to ignore all whitespace that is non-significant in the eyes of rendering (not parsing) engines.

These are scenarios not currently supported

• Collapsed white space around inline element <p>whitespace outside <em> and inside</em></p>

Setting HtmlCompareOptions.ElementSelectionMode to Aggregate should let the HtmlComparer compare the combined selection against the expected HTML.

There are currently no support for comparing the contents of the element and it's simply ignored today.

We should instead compare the elements by default but also allow for only comparison.

All existing unit tests are currently using small HTML structure for grokkability reasons. These should be complemented by some tests that uses larger structures.

Change the main API to use async parsing or add side by side async support.

Add additional information to the Nuget package

Add some additional usage documentation.
