He has to remove the title or contents of it if wanting to remove his post or comment.

This is because some users edit their posts or comments too frequently even after the debate was over. As a result they twist or distort the original flow of the conversation so that they make new visitors to confuse or misunderstand the debate between the post author and the commenters.

There should be a way to create new forums from ZeroTalk's home page, so that people can create new forums for their own language and for any topic they want...

Permalink of a comment under a post is short of the full URL before physically clicking it.
Just right-clicking the Permalink and Copy link location turns out to be crippled one.
But if u click it, and as a result the page refreshes, then u can copy the URL on the page address text box in the browser.
That's not good, is it???

Some users delete their posts without showing any respect to the commenters' efforts, so that no matter how many comments were attached all of them can be disappeared at once by one man's decision.

Allow the topic creator to choose what to remove among title, body and author ID.
In case the bulletin board doesn't allow anonymous posting, when he selects 'remove author ID' show him the msg saying 'Removing author ID will remove the title and the body together and they will not be recovered.' If click 'yes', remove all 3 items, but still remains comments under the topic.

(Empty title and body will be replaced with the msg [removed]. Then anyhow people still can read the comments in it)

please implement language filter to ZeroTalk, same or similar like one at ZeroSites one can click and select to show only topics in his/her native language + english (for example)

So one can easily and permanently (the choice will be remembered across page visits and zeronet restarts) hide foreign language rubbish.

Please work on ZeroTalk and ZeroBLog as these are most important content management systems that makes zeronet users wanting to use zeronet - if these CMS are useful and feature rich.

Currently a lot of the content on the English form is Chinese, and the Chinese form is basically empty. I suggest adding displaying a warning message when people try to enter Chinese characters on the English form asking them to post on the Chinese form. This will hopefully not only remove the Chinese content from the English form, but populate the Chinese form with Chinese content.

When you go to the index.html page, it should either redirect you to your native language's board, or the user should have to choose which language's zite to go to.

There's a need to implement a feature to assign categories or flair to posts so that they're easily sorted.

i seen SPAM in the topics. Maybe the topic owner should have right to clean his topic from SPAM or submit high "weight" downvote to the SPAM comment and if confirmed by other users downvotes, post will get removed. To prevent abuse of the downvotes, there should be antibot system.

it is around 4th time i was wanting to reference a ZeroTalk comment from other zite or other ZeroTalk topic and i can not find the link of particular comment. Please can you add a hyperlink under date of each zerotalk comment and the hyperlink will be a permanent link to the post? So i can right click date and copy the link. Or other simple, space savvy way offer the link to the comment?

Update: there already is a menu at the end of each comment (hard to be seen three dots), so it is other possible location for permalink a maybe.

I want to be able to mute users from their comments on a Topic, not just from the TopicList.

For now you have to go in the content.json file and to modify it by hand to create sub-topic. It would be nice to have a UI way of doing it for less techy people.

At the moment ZeroTalk moves any post including Chinese character to Chinese sub-board automatically as soon as the post is created.
But why don't u compare the number of English characters and Chinese characters in a post, or compare only the first certain amount of part of the post?
English post can also include Chinese characters in it if required, but the current policy doesn't care about it and push anything which includes Chinese character.

I don't think it's fair to give a privilege to the topic starter to remove any comments attached to his topic.
That will hurt the freedom of speech in the site.

Rather, the site owner can appoint several moderators to deal with spams and vandalism.
Moreover, the moderators can not remove or change anything, but they can only vote on [remove this] on each comment or topic. (Of course it's better if the owner could choose whether they can remove not just vote on [remove]. ) If the number of votes reaches the pre-defined number, then it alarms the owner or removes the alarmed comment or post automatically.

If you take a certain amount of time in composing a comment while switching to other windows and continuing editing, come and go, at last the submit button doesn't do anything. So you have to copy all the contents in the comment box and refresh the page only to paste and submit, then OK.

I'd like to print backtick inside backticked quotation. For example: This is a ``test phrase.
The above example will not quote the entire phrase "test phrase" but only "phrase".
backslash-backtick doesn't escape backtick.

I think that a downvote button (with similar functionality to reddit's) would be a great way to deal with spam on ZeroTalk, etc.

Update: here is suggested how to do it manually.

i thought it can be handy if admin can remove, move or maybe even edit all other user's posts right via front end - it would show a editing pencil like all posts are his own. But it can be handy if admin can show all posts of a user and selectively and also in bulk delete them.

Because there are too many topics and quite some are hostile/FUD.

We shouldn't be forced to waste time by scrolling down.
Which doesn't help often, since the title may not always indicate that it was that what we were searching

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Clone ZeroTalk
2. Replace "topic_sticky_uris": [...] with "topic_sticky_uris": [] in content.json
3. Sign content.json
4. Update page

Actual Results:
The following error appears in Developer Console:

Expected Results:
The page shows with no sticky topics in the top.

When a thread has 0 comments the text correctly reads "0 comments", but for 2, 3, ... n comments it is incorrectly "n comment".

Change it to top: -33px; will be better,i think
