Don't remember :-)

Why should it be added to Haveno? How would it benefit the project and the community?

It could bring extra liquidity apart from cash

Where is the currency used?

Worldwide

Why would Haveno be beneficial for the people using this specific fiat currency?

It would be an excellent alternative for fiat

Additional notes

I'm fully aware that adding metals would be tricky the least, but a good start could be only accepting the very well known standard bullions (1 Oz. Eagles, Buffalo and Maple coins for instance)

[Crypto] Add ZEC (shielded only)

  • I confirm there are no other issues about this asset (open or closed)
  • I understand that Haveno expects the project applying for being listed to take care of the PR for the actual implementation
  • I understand that adding the asset is at discretion of the Haveno Core Team and applying doesn't necessarily imply acceptance

What's the ticker symbol of the project?

ZEC

Why should it be added to Haveno? How would it benefit the project and the community?

Zcash shielded funds are the second closest thing the cryptocurrency ecosystem has to a fungible asset. Enabling a decentralized, peer to peer trading pair between two "fungible" assets opens the door to an important market that isn't otherwise supported in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Zcash is supported on some worldwide exchanges that do not support Monero, which helps with making it more liquid. It also helps break the association between a Monero trade on Haveno and a different transparent coin. While some exchanges may mark Zcash shielded funds as higher risk, they are likely to assign lower risks to these shielded coins in practice with automated tools than they would assign to trades specifically tagged as Haveno trades.

Is it an Ethereum token (ERC-20)?

  • Yes
  • No

Was the coin pre-mined before public launch?

  • Yes
  • No

Is there a dev fee for the project maintainers?

  • Yes
  • No

Initial investors got some of the coins. The ECC (a for-profit company owned by a nonprofit) and the ZF (a nonprofit) continue to get some of the block reward. There is a grants committee that gets some as well (administered by the ZF).

Please provide resources about the project (Website, Twitter, etc)

https://z.cash/
https://zfnd.org/
https://zcashcommunitygrants.org/

Additional notes

There is a significant history of conflict between the Monero and Zcash communities, and Zcash was pulled from the initial supported assets list. Zcash is not likely to be a huge % of total trading volume, but I personally would like to see Zcash shielded only (ideally Orchard only) supported in the second or third wave. Having a trading pair like this is far more important than any drama and noise that may result from a few people. People who do not support this coin simply do not understand how significant this trading pair would be to help reduce the amount of mass surveillance of trades on Haveno.

[Crypto] Add Stealth(XST)

  • I confirm there are no other issues about this asset (open or closed)
  • I understand that Haveno expects the project applying for being listed to take care of the PR for the actual implementation
  • I understand that adding the asset is at discretion of the Haveno Core Team and applying doesn't necessarily imply acceptance

What's the ticker symbol of the project?

Ticker #: XST

Why should it be added to Haveno? How would it benefit the project and the community?

Stealth is used by StealthPay client/site which allows MasterCard & VISA payments to be converted into Stealth and then recieved anonymously, Stealth has also released a OEM client with StealthSend which allows the transfer of Stealth between wallets. Adding Stealth would allow for the potential for Monero Users & possible vendors to offer StealthPay as a payment client(similar to PayPal), recieve payment in Stealth, and then convert Stealth to Monero(adding just another means for Monero-minded buisness/individuals to recieve funds from non-privacy respecting sources)

Is it an Ethereum token (ERC-20)?

  • Yes
  • No

Was the coin pre-mined before public launch?

Why should it be added to Haveno? How would it benefit the project and the community?

Nano is a cryptocurrency that is fast, feeless, and energy efficient. This currency has been my primary go to for onboarding new people into the crypto space. It's simplicity, speed, and lack of fees allow people to see a revolutionized way to send money while the energy efficiency tends to make even the most anti-crypto mining intrigued. Once people feel like they understand crypto technology using the simple Nano, I then show them the real deal that Monero in all it's complexity can give to users.
