a qgis desktop container

my personal recipes to install QGIS on linux, as many versions and configurations as needed. One branch per version / usage

to build an image, checkout the desired branch

then for 3.x_master build with :

docker build --no-cache -t qgis_local:3.x_master ./

clarify branches

as a user and maintainer I need to :

  • maintain only 3 branches : master / release / ltr and provide explicit version launchers and docker images (with tagging)
  • merge the docker registry option in all branches
  • polish the deploy/ install process for Ubuntu Debian with a one liner script call
  • add some instructions for wsl2g
