1a's Introduction

Hello there!

When I was in first year university, we had to take a course that taught functional programming in a student language called Racket. Now, this was basically the first time I had ever touched code, so I really wasn't very good. But I was really into what Racket had to offer - especially its extensive libraries for animation, mouse events, and other such tools. At this time, as a rudimentary programmer, I had no idea what Javascript and other languages may have to offer in terms of making any kind of interactive program, and I was rather blown away.

I spent a lot of my spare time this semester making some mediocre little Racket games. I then attempted to put them on Github, not knowing

  • how to use GitHub
  • what Git exactly is
  • that it didn't automatically mean people could try my little games out right on here (sadly)

Anyways, I have returned now to add some of my Racket games and projects to this repo! If you are interested in giving them a shout, the instructions for running them are (soon to be placed) below :)

Have a lovely day!
