This seems related to the fact that an Entity that calls remove, but is still listening to generated KeyPressed events, gets those events after it is removed, leading to an exception. But I wasn't able to reproduce this one yet.

I had this same issues. It can also occur when you load a new Scene and remove the KeyChangeListener.
