meta-splash's Issues

No splash for systemd

This layer works fine with my RaspberryPi Zero 2 w as long as SysVinit is used (default init system for Yocto), but it does not if systemd is selected. In that case, running "psplash" during normal operation displays the splash image with the empty progress bar, so the functionality is still there but it is not triggered properly at boot.
This can be easily reproduced by simply adding and removing INIT_MANAGER = "systemd" from local.conf.
