Create S3 bucket with specific configuration

Add a command to the CLI to...

  • Create an S3 bucket.
  • Configure it with a transition lifecycle based on arguments to the CLI.
  • Configure it with a deletion lifecycle based on arguments to the CLI.

Install command on CLI

install command on the CLI. This will install the LaunchAgent so the backup runs periodically. No arguments for now.

List backups created via CLI

list command. Provide as arguments...

  • The config file.
  • The timestamp. Optional. If not provided, list all the timestamps available. If provided, list the backup files associated with the timestamp.

Restore a backup via CLI

restore command. Takes as an argument...

  • The config file.
  • The timestamp.
  • The named backup file.
  • The location to restore the file to.
