gulp-poirot's Introduction

gulp-poirot

Usage

var poirot = require('gulp-poirot');

gulp.task('templates', function() {
  gulp.src('./templates/*.html')
    .pipe(poirot('templates.js'))
    .pipe(gulp.dest('./dist/'))
});

This will concat files by your operating systems newLine. It will take the base directory from the first file that passes through it.

Files will be concatenated in the order that they are specified in the gulp.src function. For example, to concat ./templates/file3.html, ./templates/file1.html and ./templates/file2.html in that order, the following code will create a task to do that:

var concat = require('gulp-concat');

gulp.task('scripts', function() {
  gulp.src(['./lib/file3.html', './lib/file1.html', './lib/file2.html'])
    .pipe(concat('templates.js'))
    .pipe(gulp.dest('./dist/'))
});

To change the newLine simply pass an object as the second argument to concat with newLine being whatever (\r\n if you want to support any OS to look at it)

For instance:

.pipe(concat('templates.js', {newLine: ';'}))

To specify cwd, path and other vinyl properties, gulp-poirot accepts Object as first argument:

var concat = require('gulp-poirot');

gulp.task('templates', function() {
  gulp.src(['./lib/file3.html', './lib/file1.html', './lib/file2.html'])
    .pipe(concat({ path: 'templates.js', stat: { mode: 0666 }}))
    .pipe(gulp.dest('./dist'))
});

This will concat files into ./dist/templates.js.

gulp-poirot's Issues

Action required: Greenkeeper could not be activated 🚨

🚨 You need to enable Continuous Integration on Greenkeeper branches of this repository. 🚨

To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.

Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet.
We recommend using:

If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/.

Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please click the 'fix repo' button on account.greenkeeper.io.
