Or I have reinstall to upgrade Monterey?

wol(wake on lan) works fine in windows 10, but not mac os.
The intel lan interface was powered off when mac os shutdown.

Should I generate a new SN and modify the config.plist file? If needed, when should I do that? before install or after install?

The HDMI video was ok, but HDMI audio wasn't.

I just format USB to fast32 and copy EFI to USB but when i press F10 and boot to USB. only show window 10 option. I cant see CFG unlock or VerifyMsrE2. Can you help me ?

I checked that the latest bios is:
0053

Hey guys. I copied all the stuff to the usb and changed the platform parameter in plist. The opencore loaded but i can only choose between

• EFI shell
• Unlock CFG (i've changed the parameter of both to "1")
• Reset NVRAM

I have a bigsur installation usb-stick on another port. Scan-policy is "0".

I've installed macOS_11.6.1-20G224 on a new NUC10i3FNKH2 with a Samsung 980 M.2 drive.
Installation was running fine (so I assume everything was compatible) but after an automated reboot of the installer, it got stuck in a reboot loop.
When booting from USB using F10 it shows the Apple logo followed by trying to access the NVME drive (HD LED lights up for a second) and it crashes and reboots again.

I thought the installer screwed up the USB drive EFI so I recreated the drive but still same result. So it's not a problem with the EFI on the USB drive or the installation files.
The USB drive worked before and during the MacOS installation but started failing after the installation. It just crashes after showing the logo and is stuck in this loop.

Is it possible to create a new branch EFI version with all logging enabled to troubleshoot this issue? Checked the EFI drive but could only find some screenshots that only show the apple logo.

I installed Big Sur by copying the EFI that you supplied to the USB.
The install was formated over a copy of Windows 2019 Server.
When I boot the system I am using the original EFI that the MAC has on the hard drive.
[Without the USB it boots into windows recovery partition]
I boot the system with the USB in the computer and choose the osx volume.
Everything boots normally [Bluetooth and WIFI both work!] (in the bios I have both Bluetooth and WIFI checked)
everything just works....
When I copy the EFI that you supplied to the hard drive,(I backed up the original EFI) and reboot Bluetooth stops working. Screen resolution is better (5-10%) but other then that everything else is the same.
I am probably missing something else in the drivers that you supplied, but right now using the original EFI allows me to use Bluetooth, with a minimal drop of resolution.
I am using version 11.2.3
The only issue of using the original EFI is that I have to boot the computer everytime with the USB. If you want the original EFI I am using let me know.

I couldn't get Big Sur to install on my nuc10i5fnh, but Catalina did, though it has some issues..

#1: I've installed it to NVME and wanted to use the second SATA drive for TM backups, but I can't write to, nor format, this drive.. I've read around about issues with generic sata in appleahci, but the proposed patching seems beyond my current ability.
Is someone able to provide this patched kext?

#2: booting has glitches. it seems to work 3/5 times w/o an issue, but when it doesn't it either freezes at apple logo, or displays the prohibited sign. a reboot typically solves it, though sometimes I need to do a few in a row. is there an obvious fix for this?

I see that the repo has the latest release 0.7.2
but the releases have only until 0.7.1
Can I use the repo files directly or should I wait for a new release from releases for 0.7.2?

So I have had Hackintosh on my Intel NUC for a while and it seems that there is constant static through the wired headphones when connected. I have tried changing the layout ids for AppleALC but there has been no success in fixing the problem.
Any assistance will be helpful.

Hi, the Thunderbolt Port Is full working in your EFI?? Because in mine i see only in PCIe tab and not in the Thunderbolt tabs. And connected with a Windows PC with Thunderbolt the nuc is not recognized.

You think the flash Is needed?

Hi, I'm on NUC10i7FNH, CFG Unlock and installed Big Sur without any problems.
I'm experiencing always the automatic restart just after shutdown (but if I shutdown from the login screen, it power off regularly).
I've disabled Wake from network in system preferences, but that didn't fix it.
I read in another post to change some bios settings in the Power section, but which one specifically? Has anyone had the same problem and fixed it some way?

The problem is applealc only working with display when display and hdmi plugin same time.
Only display or Only hdmi applealc not work!!

Could not see the APFS drives to boot from. Catalina latest.

I finally got the 0.7.8 EFI folder to work. The problem was the EFI->APFS settings for MinDate and MinVersion. They were set at 0 and 0. I set them to -1 and -1.

You might want to relax them and then let people tighten them up as necessary.

I was upgrading from 0.7.4 to 0.7.5 and my device is getting slower and slower. I downgrade now to previous version.

The load of the device is normal - don't know where the problem is.

Any ideas?

It makes sense to have a description on how to use this repo. I am not 100% sure if I used the repo correctly.

1. Download repo.
2. Use one of these configs and rename to config.plist.

/EFI/OC/config.plist Default boot with AppleALC.kext.
/EFI/OC/config.VoodooHDA.plist Default boot with VoodooHDA.kext(HDMI Audio works).
/EFI/OC/config.UI.plist GUI boot with AppleALC.kext.
/EFI/OC/config.UI.VoodooHDA.plist GUI boot with VoodooHDA.kext(HDMI Audio works).

3. change the PlatformInfo-> MLB, SystemSerialNumber, SystemUUID & ROM.
4. Copy EFI files to the root of your USB drive, path will be /EFI.
5. Reboot your nuc10, press F10, boot with the drive above and see if everything works.

Have not yet been updated for OC 0.7.2.

Could you update these as well ?

Two issues with the OC73 release:

1. OC: Configuration requires vault but no vault provided! -> This could be fixed by editing config.plist and change Config-Misc-Security-Vault to Optional.
2. Cannot continue further booting.

Older versions worked.

I just saw than my hackintosh can't boot with dual screen plugged (HDMI+usb c) ==+> crash on Apple Logo

But if i plugged the second cable only after the loading screen everything works well.

i have an nuc10i3fnk2 but i tried another EFI on internet for the Nuc 08 just in case, and its seems to works (but of course i have a lot of others problem with this one.

When I boot from the disk I made, I was prompted with the message "Internet connection required"

What should I do at this point?

i have a problem with installing BigSur on nuc10i7. It does not matter with sata or nvme ssd. I can open the installer and format the disk. When it is about the half of the progress bar with installing there is a reboot loop.

Any idea what i can check?

Cfglock found 2 values. 1 value there is a problem with writing.

I'm using the latest bootloader.

In config.plist under Platforminfo>Generic I see MLB, SystemSerialNumber, and SystemUUID all blank.
ROM has a place holder.
Does this version now auto populate these fields, or do I need to run GenSMBIOS and populate the fields?
Or can I just use the ones in the current 18 month old config.plist?

I updated and then HDMI does not sound

I updated OC to the latest version on this repo. I tried installing Monterey 12.2 update. When I reboot, in the boot I have an entry "Macintosh HD", I selected and it was not successful. Did any of you update succeed?

I'm able to successfully download Monterey installer via OTA but can't initiate the installation process

I have a NUC10 i7 that is running Catalina with an much older version of OpenCore.
I am ready to upgrade to BigSur or Monterey and the latest OpenCore
You say "Need to replace AirportItlwm.kext to Catalina version" or the Monterey version.
Where do you get those versions? From GitHub? acidanthera?

I know I have to personalize the config.plist to make it unique.
