Track # of HH members who have a personal website/github as a metric of success

We should have a simple bot that uses the GitHub Webhook and API features to mark pull requests as ready to merge or to automatically point out issues. Travis is a good reference on what I want to do.

Ideally, it would:

Make sure the URL returns a 200/300 response code
Make sure the list is in ABC order
Query VirusTotal to make sure it's not malicious
anything else?

Automatically check for alphabetical order

HH LinkedIns and Portfolios

How about similar lists for LinkedIn profiles and design/artwork portfolios? I think all these are currently put in the personal-sites markdown.

Automatically add new HH members personal websites and githubs

We could write a script that automatically searches for the personal website and github of people who join HH by google searching for their name. Have it run daily.

May be a little invasive but would be p cool. Thoughts?

Separate markdown files for different profiles

What if we had one README for personal websites, one for GitHub repos, one for LinkedIn profiles, etc? It'd make for less scrolling.

Dead/Spammy Links

Are there any plans to remove dead or spammy links? For example, Frank Cash's website does not work, and Emily Tran's website leads to a spam site for me.

Is this still active?

Does this need a new maintainer or something? Website's DNS isn't live and last time the list was updated was in 2018.

Website submission?

Another approach to consider would be having a web form for submission and possibly viewing - I'm not sure if there are points regarding keeping it on GitHub.

That simplifies #284 as you can add a login with FB button, and would make validation a lot easier as you'd be parsing your database and not a markdown/diff file.

Need help

Would it be helpful to crossthrough/delete entries where the website no longer exists?

It's just been somewhat annoying if I come by and click on quite a few links and find that there's no longer a website at the URL.
