swipe-two-finger-to-back-forward's Introduction

This extension was formed by merging the other two. Namely: PrecisionTouchPadSwipe: Author - Valstop (Link: https: //addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/user/12254872/? Utm_source = firefox-browser & utm_medium = firefox-browser & utm_content = addons-manager-user-profile-link)

AND

Swipe Back: Author - anuejn (Link: https: //addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/user/17076876/? Utm_source = firefox-browser & utm_medium = firefox-browser & utm_content = addons-manager-user-profile-link)

The purpose of this act is to support gestures in firefox on wayland. The second extension does not work correctly (it may be possible to customize it), and the first does not have animation. I do not claim authorship and did it for myself, but I would be glad if it would be useful to someone.

swipe-two-finger-to-back-forward's Issues

Animation only works when there's no page to go to

Hi there! Thanks a lot for this wonderful extension!

Being someone who's truly fascinated by the way epiphany does this, yet needing to use Firefox (because WebKit on epiphany is kinda moody, while Firefox is as reliable as Chromium but with amazing Linux support), I came searching for an add-on and found yours.

However, using it today, it doesn't seem to work quite well.
When swiping to the side where there's actually a page to go back/forward to, the default Firefox behavior kicks in (an arrow comes into the screen as I swipe, then it abruptly switches the page), instead of the animation of your extension.
The animation seems to only work on the side where there's no history. It animates towards emptiness, just to snap back without changing anything at all.

Firefox already supports touchpad gesture history navigation natively as mentioned, and I guess that conflicts with your extension (?)

Hope you can fix this!
