Didn't find a function could rotate the particle effect, and I found vent.content is the main group so I use
vent.content:rotate(30 ) to rotate.

But after the rotate, the particle's position changed a lot.

When using graphicsCompatibility = 1 in config, CB effects does not work. I've tested this in the main cbEffects project and in my own app.

Specifically, cbe_core/vent_core/core.lua:266

You call vent.outTime, and getValue() is commented out. This will break all instances where outTime is a function and not a number, even if your function code is as simple as 'function() return 32 end'. It results in an untraceable assert.

Replacing 'vent.outTime()' with the commented-out 'getValue()' statement on the same line seems to fix this issue.

there is a bug at core.lua
