hpios's Issues

Project Refactor

  1. Pull out common code into a local Pod
  2. Split each topic into a project of its own.
    • Q: Should each project be an app or a pod and then create apps?
  3. Find way to still keep the unified app pushed to the store.

Building the project

Hi,

thanks for the book.

I have few issues with the code downloaded from here. First, it fails with link error:

duplicate symbol _segues in:
/Users/idelovski/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/HighPerformance-fslhbvxbhqyyfscwyuvljcrtiowc/Build/Intermediates/HighPerformance.build/Debug-iphonesimulator/HighPerformance.build/Objects-normal/x86_64/HPChapter03AllTableViewController.o

Is there a quick fix I can do to this problem?

My profile does not include iCloud, Push notifications, Keychain sharing and maybe some other features needed by this broject. Is there a short tutorial for building it.

I have several Macs but I was testing it on 10.12.5 Sierra and Xcode 8.3.3. as I wanted to have build environment closer to the book release date. Should I use older or newer Xcode?

Frustration with sample code

I'm working through your book at the moment, and while I find it fascinating and extremely helpful, I'm left frustrated at the sections where we write 'our own code'.

I've installed the sample project and was working my way through the part in chapter 2 where it directs us to 'create classes ourselves' but found that the code I was being told to write was already fully written in the sample project - is there any place that we can write it ourselves? I'm just confused since the language you use is telling us to do all these actions, which seem to have already been done.
