Input should come from stdin given that it's funny to pass a JSON as a command line argument.
The CLI could decide to read a JSON from stdin if no options are given, like --payload, --destination, etc.

When running with yarn 1.22.22...

yarn global add @guidanoli/cmioc

I get this error...

warning @guidanoli/[email protected]: The engine "pnpm" appears to be invalid.

This appears to have been fixed in yarn v2, and is a no-fix in v1.
We could remove pnpm from the list of engines to avoid this warning.
It's not like pnpm is necessary to install the package. One can use npm or yarn.

it would be nice provide a README section on how to use as a library, for those writing typescript applications

The package.json is copied by tsc because it's imported by src/cli.ts.
It would be nice if src/cli.ts imported package.json in a way that:

• it works when compiled to JavaScript
• it doesn't raise warnings when developing in Typescript

Maybe remove outDir from tsconfig.json and edit include and exclude?

One possible solution is to add a post-build script that runs a program like sed that adds the shebang in the beginning of the dist/bin/cmioc.js file.

This RC removes EvmInspect and renames some parameters of EvmAdvance.

We're currently only testing the functions exported by src/index.ts.
We should also test the CLI tool in bin/cmioc.ts.
