Every grain should be completly editable - also for dates. For the beginning it should be enough to change the pure momentjs-string. Later it should be parsed to datepickers & selectboxes.

Sandglass uses jquery heavily - also where it's not needed, since we only support modern browsers for the first release. To keep the app smaller, try to remove it in as many places as possible.

Optimum would be to only use it, to parse html snippets to dom nodes.

Therefore add an 'add-icon' to the day-grouping element.

When adding a new grain, the date is always shown in front. It should help to add ´´self.grainCollection.sync( {reRender: true} )´´ to group the item correctly.
