tomboy-reborn's Issues

inconsistent copy-paste behaviour within the same note

If i copy or cut one line from a note and want to paste it at a different place in the same note, either nothing happens, or I'm pasting whatever was left in the clipboard from another application. But the line I copied is either gone or randomly shows up when I'm trying to paste something else later.

I guess to reproduce: try copy pasting a bunch of things around in one note and see if anything consistent happens.

P.S.: unfortunately undo also doesn't really work

Good Luck

I wish you well with this project.

David

Transaction test error when installing .rpm using yum

I am getting this error when installing using yum

Error: Transaction test error:
file / from install of tomboy-reborn-1.0.0-2.x86_64 conflicts with file from package filesystem-3.8-2.el8.x86_64
file /usr/bin from install of tomboy-reborn-1.0.0-2.x86_64 conflicts with file from package filesystem-3.8-2.el8.x86_64

I've seen this in the past, the installer is trying to create these root directories which should normally exist on every system.
Usually I would remove the responsible lines from the SPEC file but no idea how your rpm packages are generated.

Cheers.

Default Note window size/position too small

Every note maintains its own position and size.

  • It appears that this data is not synchronized amongst devices, but only stored locally.

By default, a note is opened in the top-left corner of the Desktop and at quite a small size.

  • It would make more sense to centre the note on the currently-active desktop
  • Notes need to have a "sensible" default size taking into account font size and screen DPI; ideally the note should be formatted to be wide enough not to need a horizontal scrollbar, and tall enough not to need a vertical scrollbar. Perhaps within limits.

Cannot Authenticate to NextCloud

Hello,

I'm using version 1.0 of Tomboy-reborn, but when I try to Authenticate on my server, I get "OAuth: token invalid" (without any browser opening)

[UPDATE]
Looking down; it's seems to be related with latest NC update.

regards,
Frater
