Dictionary of countries

Simple Android App using geonames API http://www.geonames.org to display information about countries.

App concept:

  • IntentService and Retrofit data up to date
  • simple SQLiteOpenHelper stores structured data
  • custom Observable tracks changes in data
  • custom AsyncTaskLoader make data available
  • Fresco for displaying images in application
