Hi All,
The monthly newsletter is just about ready to be posted, but we could use some clarification on major items and themes discussed at the December WG call. Could you please take a look and provide some details that would be helpful for folks reading and better understand what is being discussed during the call?
Thanks to everyone for their contributions to the August newsletter https://foundation.graphql.org/news/2020/09/11/graphql-foundation-monthly-newsletter-august-2020/
We are now taking contributions for the September newsletter. Feel free to add directly to this doc here https://docs.google.com/document/d/10OG6nYp9TYKCs35FbcArEx426E6rYiRyzqOSiKzOey4/edit#

We should have a simple presentation that explains the GraphQL Foundation and why people should join: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1pczeZPP0mf01b9ucKlLNRHxppco0SHIPLwkmLMMSO1g/edit#slide=id.g24429c344a_0_2
Produce the first annual report to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in March 2020!
We should probably work with the GraphQL community to get DevStats rolled out: http://devstats.graphql.org
We need to validate that the data is good and what projects to track.
Add GraphQL + GraphQL Foundation artwork:
https://github.com/graphql/graphql.github.io/blob/source/LICENSE
This should be updated to reflect GraphQL Foundation stewardship and a license that GitHub actually understands
Launch a graphql store to support the community!

I have an idea for a project that is more related to GraphiQL: an interactive tutorial for writing queries
Something like that https://dev.to/methodcoder/graphql-crash-course-in-10-pics-3b04
But as an interactive GraphiQL based tutorial with some challenges where you need to write some queries yourself.
It would be a good app to test plugin APIs and also useful for people who just want to quickly learn graphql syntax.
I have almost zero knowledge of the front-end side so I canβt realistically mentor it π so I post it here in case anyone wants to adopt it.
Hi All,
We're trying to pick up the pace on the newsletters.

Hi all,
We plan to post the monthly newsletter next week. If anyone has any contributions based on discussions from the Nov WG call, ecosystem updates, and upcoming events, that would be extremely helpful!
Draft can be found here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CVCG5UdfDkJ-bGD8u9XTLzszo5Wki0Wwi8lF7vngsEA/edit#

We could potentially have @IvanGoncharov mentor one student as part of his work for the GraphQL Foundation, we just need to come up with a couple project ideas :)
We should add the FOSSA scanning badge to the graphiql project.
