slowmovideo's Issues

Curves vs. lines

Have an option to draw curves by default instead of lines and have the software calculate the transition at nodes between curves for smoothness. User can adjust afterwards.

Or instead a default, perhaps a key combination? Keep pressing (or just press before) key1 while setting the next point -> line, press key2 -> curve.

Display current speed at cursor

Instead of having to click a point and right-click on the line/curve to select speed, have the cursor display the computed speed as you drag the current point. Would help tremendously in setting the next point.

NTH: display speed at cursor, option to default to curves

Good Job!

  1. Instead of having to click a point and right-click on the line/curve to select speed, have the cursor display the computed speed as you drag the current point. Would help tremendously in setting the next point.
  2. Have an option to draw curves by default instead of lines and have the software calculate the transition at nodes between curves.

flow file not written?

hi,

i get this error on win7 with version 3.1 and latest ffmpeg windows builds (32 and 64bit)
the input files are jpgs and i don't know how can this be fixed, any idea?

Can't generate mp4 file

hi,

mpeg as outputformat works but mp4/mkv does not (win7, x32/amd64 ffmpeg versions)

Speed labels on segments would be useful

When constructing a speed curve in slowmo UI, it would be useful to have labels indicating the speed (slope) of that segment.
For me, the speed relative to the original frame rate would be most useful. E.g. 1x, 4x, 0.25x, etc.
I suppose this is only straight forward for linear segment. For bezier segments speed would vary (although I did not yet manage to get a 'grip' on bezier node handles) along the segment, but the average speed between two nodes is easy enough to calculate.

Installation error on Ubuntu 12.04

I installed the 32 bit .deb 0.2.6-2 version of the software and it produced this error:

The package doesn't provide a valid Installed-Size control field. See Debian Policy 5.6.20.

Project directory deleted without prompt

Hi,
Thanks for all the great work with the software. I would normally propose a patch for this but I'm on a very short deadline at the moment, sorry!

I was rendering out some footage yesterday, and running slowmoUI ended up deleting the entire project folder, which was my user directory. Consequently I lost three days of footage (I since have learned my lesson about rigorous backup separation)! I suspect this is not intended behaviour, and I feel like I saw a bug report about it somewhere, though I cannot see it in the list of issues on this repo.

To be clear, I should have had better backups, and I'm very appreciative of your work with the software!
