bayesDP provides tools and functions for data augmentation using the
Bayesian discount prior function for one arm and two arm clinical
trials.

The bdplm function re-parameterizes the classical ANCOVA model by removing the fixed intercept. This induces a correlation between mu_treatment and mu_control. To overcome this, it is necessary that we mean-center the baseline values in the ANCOVA. Either a documentation update is required or an automatic centering.
In bdplm, the default for prior_covariate_sd is 10,000 (1E4). However, this is internally scaled by 1E6, making the total SD equal 1E10. We either need to update the documentation or update the internal scaling.
