Status?

This project looks promising but what's the status? The readme outlines 3 "phases" in future form ("phase X will achieve Y" etc). Is it "done"? Or is anyone actively using it? Has it been abandoned? On hold? TIA for satisfying my curiosity.. =)

Thoughts on going all the way with this

Do you think it would be a better idea to port one or more of the extremely popular and battle hardened existing template languages to Go rather than try to invent a new one?

There are a number of really good template languages that work great on the client and if they had Go support then we would be golden as web developers.
