Hi Jahir, did you launch the menu in the window, or within an Activity? (there are 2 launch buttons in the demo app).

Ok. Perhaps some aspect of the elevation API changes with Android 7. My devices on 6 are still showing the elevation shadow as far as I can tell. I'll take a look when I get a minute. In the meantime if you stumble upon a solution, please feel free to post it here and I'll integrate it (I haven't formalized the contribution process yet).

Thanks. I will try to investigate a bit more. From what I have found (in the last couple days of me trying to find an answer to not bother you with this issue), all solutions were either hard for me to understand, or made with XML files. Will keep trying. Thanks.
