Here is a version where I hacked together the parseFloat function peg$c39 around line 152 to handle my example data correctly. There probably is a cleaner way, but as a workaround for my usecase this seems to do the trick:

It seems the default code works out like this:
parseFloat(["-",[["3",".","125"],null]].join(""))
=> parseFloat("-3,.,125,") // I am surprised that parseFloat accepts that kind of string
=> -3

EDIT:
As expected my hackery does't solve it for all cases, something is still wrong for example with this data:

EDIT: It seems that is an issue created by the fact that the path uses only relative m's.
Something breaks when it switches from one subpath to another.
