This is a sample owner portal for a hair salon. It allows the owner of the salon to view, add, update, and delete clients and stylists from a SQL database. Additionally, the owner can track which clients see each stylist.

Install by cloning this repository.

In PSQL, create the database with the following code:

CREATE DATABASE hair_salon;
CREATE TABLE stylists (id serial PRIMARY KEY, first_name varchar, last_name varchar, phone varchar);
CREATE TABLE clients (id serial PRIMARY KEY, first_name varchar, last_name varchar, phone varchar, stylist_id int);
CREATE DATABASE hair_salon_test WITH TEMPLATE hair_salon;

Navigate to the project directory in the command line and run the following commands:

bundle install
ruby app.rb
