z1-mini's Issues

Estimated battery life

Hi!
I just jumped into the iot world and I discovered this small module because I was searching an alternative to the esp01, as it is a bit too power hungry for my use case. Do you by any chance know what should be an estimated battery life of this z1 mini if we plug only one sensor, let's say the bmp280 and read like every 10mins? Asking because the aqara sensors last like 1.5 years on a single cr2032 cell, so I was wondering if it was something doable or not.

Z1-Mini | Tindie

Hi,

I'm on the Z1-Mini | Tindie waiting list. Do you have any estimations of possible availability?

Zigbee pairing

Hello,
I have ordered a Z1-Mini, and I am currently reading through the documentation. I undestand how to generate the firmware and how to flash it. However, how does the zigbee pairing process work?

Board Schematic?

I don't see a license, but assuming you're selling on Tinde I'd expect some sort of open source license. Do you plan on releasing your board schematics or gerbers? I'd love to show monetary support, but nearly $40 to the US doesn't make sense when I can get 10 of the modules for $26 on AliExpress. I'm mostly interested in what you're using to allow the board voltage to be up to 13.2v, but any support components would be helpful to make my own boards.

control RGB LED?

I see two 20mA outputs that can probably drive LEDs directly (PWM capable). Assuming this is heritage of the Ebyte module employed.
For RGB there is the need of a 3rd output apparently. Any idea how to accomplish this? I failed finding RGB LED breakout PCBs that also contain some sort of driver transistor/FET.
