Using AENOX as default skin, switched the skin back to normal and it is booting (starting) again (cdART manager). Running latest git version of course.

This is no skin fault. An addon should never rely in xmls in the skin folder, but provide a default fallback.

if that setting is switched off it still retrieves all the artist MBID and not just for the album ones

As per request convert xml requests to json

it goes through the scan sems like its working but then there still 0 artsts etc this is with latests git of xbmc and this

If a user changes the MBID of an album, when they use Database update the script changes the MBID back to the original.

Probable cause - The Album or Artist name might be different between XBMC's Database and the scripts database.

I have Frodo RC3 installed on my Raspberry PI using raspbmc.

When running cdart manager the whole process never finishes and just continues to attempt to find the artwork.

When building database and you try to cancel it only cancels one part so it will continue with the next part.
To be more clear. If you cancel building album it will continue with building dtabase. if you cancel that it will skip to retrieving all artists.

When you cancel retrieving all artists it will say cancel but will just continue retrieving. So it's probably missing the xbmc.abortrequest

The update add-on database isn't available from the menu (it's probably on purpose because it's not ready?)

CDArt Manager no longer working in Kodi Helix. Any plans to update it?

When I run xbmc in a window minimised:

When I open it up, my whole pc becomes really REALY slow and my GPU core is maxed out and the tempature shoots sky high.

This realy need to have a look.
