crypto-workshop's Introduction

Linum Labs Crypto Workshop

Disclaimer

These are my personal notes and files from attending the sessions. They are nowhere near perfect transcriptions of the slides and aren't trying to be. The actual slides are protected IP, but these notes are derivate content that is free to share and modify. I haven't captured everything discussed and, because we jump around a lot, have sections missing. I'm also interested in specific aspects of Crypto more than others and my notes reflect that. I'll try my best to take notes at all sessions that have a theoretical component, but I can't make any promises. I also make no promises about the accuracy or quality of my notes, but feel free to use them as you see fit.

If you would like to fix or add to these documents, please see the Contributing section at the end.

Notes

  1. Session 1: 18 August 2018: Introduction to Crypto and Blockchain, Ethereum, EVM, DApps
  2. Session 2: 25 August 2018: CryptoZombies and PetShop tutorials
  3. Session 3: 01 September 2018: Token Standards and Curation Markets

Thanks

Thank you to the CryptoSoc committee for organising this awesome opportunity for us. The least I can do is plug their Github page and shill their super-dope coin. Thanks also to the good folks at Linum Labs for the sessions.

Contributing

Feel free to fork this as you please.

If you would like to make additions or corrections to these notes, you'll need to be familiar with markdown notation and with using Git and Github. Then go ahead and clone the repo, branch, edit, commit, and submit a pull request. It's not particularly hard and it's a useful skill, so please do give it a shot if you have something to add.

Otherwise, feel free to contact me at [email protected] and let me know what you'd like changed.
