[BUG] Library path settings not working

Describe the bug
Since I have all my stl-files in a folder structure on my local server, I want to store the Depot library on that server and replace or enhance the former folder structure (importing my stl-files as projects). I have set the library path through "preferences" --> "advanced" and also checked to copy items into the library. However, even after creating new projects I cannot find any library file on the network drive. I have also tested with local folders, which is not working for me either.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'Preferences'
Click on 'Advanced'
Maintained path to attached storage
Find nothing in that folder

Expected behavior
I expect the Depot data to be maintained in the specified folder on my server, so I can properly backup and access.

Additional context
If there is any documentation on how this is supposed to work, happy to read that. This and my other issue are both critical requirements which made me purchase the app. Great work, but without these features I am so far better off with my folder structure. Hope this can be figured out!

I'm not 100% sure how to reproduce this one but I suspect it might be because I moved the library container location.

In the log console I see the error from libsqlite3.dylib:

open flag(s) 0x01000000 are reserved for VFS use and do not affect behaviour when passed to sqlite3_open_v2

When I moved ~/Library/Containers/app.getdepot.depot to another location the app launches correctly again.

Bug: Collections not appearing in Sidebar but do when using a Project's dropdown menu

[BUG] Previews / Thumbnails not loading

[BUG] Thingiverse connection broken

Describe the bug
After making the connection to thingiverse, I can see my likes and designs in the thingiverse area. However, this list is not updating as I am making any updates on the thingiverse website, no matter how often I refresh or sign out and sign in again from Depot. The only way to re-populate that list with additional objects is to revoke app access from Depot through the thingiverse website and re-establishing the connection from scratch. Furthermore, downloads are not working, but stuck at 0% indefinitely.

Library folder/container - use human readable structure / naming.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

At present when you add files to Depot it moves them to another location and renames them with UUIDs, I can see how this makes sense for the application - but for the end user who often has to browse the filesystem to access / change models etc... it's not very accessible.

Additionally because the directory structure is completely flat - it's very hard to find what you're looking for.

This makes using files stored in Depot very difficult to find when you're importing them to slicers, modelling software or uploading to your printer etc...

With using the container / application specific data folder it's actually become a little more messy for me than just managing folders and subfolders.

Describe the solution you'd like

The option to use a standard directory path rather than an application container (hidden folder / whatever you call them) would be great.
The option to use meaningful directory and file naming rather than UUID (alone).
The use of subdirectories, perhaps per-category.

Thingiverse connection not working

Hi, I just went ahead and purchased the app since I think it is a great concept. However, one of the main features I require seem to be broken on my Monterey 12.0.1 installation (or I just need better documentation?).

After making the connection to thingiverse, I can see none of my likes or designs in the thingiverse area - the item list is just no populating anything, but asking me to select an item from the list to view details. I would have expected to be able to browse Thingiverse as well, but even seeing information maintained on thingiverse online is not working

If this and my other issue were working, the tool would cover most of what I need already. Great work, hope you can help me sort these out. Cheers!

It would be great if Depot could support zip files.

It would be great if you could simply drop these straight into Depot, or the Depot directory and have them be available with their previews, contents, metadata etc...

On every(?) 3d model site when you download a model set, it comes in a zip file.

Please add ability to move files arbitrarily or by filetype/kind in a project's list

It would be great if you could version projects or maybe even files within your library.

Perhaps one could configure snapshots at a global and/or a project level.

Perhaps there's some way to integrate with Timemachine local backups?

I don't know how often I've gone and modified a file / project or even printer/slicer profile and then realised what I did was wrong and needed to restore a file from a previous hour/day/week from backups (if I'm lucky enough to have had them backed up).

Feature Request: On selecting a project, when there’s only one file, automatically select that file so that it’s in the resource preview from the start

The app looks nice, but for $23 it's very pricey - especially when combined with the lack of trial.
